Abiding Presence Lutheran Church

My husband and I joined this congregation a few years ago and have enjoyed the warm fellowship of other members and felt our spirits lifted by the Sunday worship and sermons. We are happy to belong to this progressive congregation active in serving the community around us.

We have been active members of this church for many years. Our daughters attended preschool here and gained a solid foundation for life-long learning. The church is a community of people who have a mission to accept everyone, actively care for others, as well as our environment. Weekly worship service provide inspiration and knowledge to grow in faith.

The Abiding Presence preschool is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn and play within a Christian environment. It has an excellent staff who really care about their students!

I'm a long time member at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church and I am quite proud of our Preschool. It has served our community well for many years. I support the decision by our Board of Directors to require Covid vaccinations of all the staff at our church, including the Preschool. We take very seriously the health and safety of all our children and their families. We do "love our neighbors", all of them. We love the staff member who declined to be vaccinated or to be tested. She was given options and chose to leave her position. We wish her well.
