It’s been a few years and I honestly feel awful that I haven’t written a review for him yet! Dr Zaltz took me in very quickly when learning about my case of idiopathic chondrolysis. He performed surgery that allowed me to put off a hip replacement for a few years. Something that seemed like couldn’t happen! When the time came that I needed a replacement he sent me to someone who he said he would send his own kids to. It was a success! I’m forever grateful for Dr. Zaltz for helping to diagnose me and for taking me in so quickly! He is a wonderful man and very kind! 10/10 would highly recommend him!
Our young adult daughter is one of Dr. Zaltz's patients for her serious case of hip dysplasia. She had surgeries from 6 months until 3 years with an overall success at keeping her femur mostly with her badly deformed sockets. After many years of yearly check ups with other ortho doctors, her pain had worsened as well as her case. One known family in Michigan did not WANT to work on her. She was referred to a great doctor in Brighton that mainly focuses on laproscopic. He referred us to another doctor. This doctor (yep, going onto a 4th referral in MI in less than a year) stated he would only send her to two doctors in Michigan he trusted, and Dr. Zaltz was closest and his preferred choice. We liked Dr. Zaltz from the moment we met him (and that's from a couple who's had a parent retire from Beaumont/Oakwood, a ton of their own surgeries with military while living around the country, and civilian when we were allowed [thank God!], to even one of us working in a clinic for years becoming even more experienced). He was charming, brilliant, easy to understand, took his time and was very thorough. He wanted to try to avoid hip replacements at 20 years old so we went another route. He did what he could, but she was badly botched from a surgery at Walter Reed and he could not do more without risking injury. He stopped without being arrogant. Her follow ups were great as well. She will be getting her screws removed with him, and eventually, when she is ready, going for the replacements. We have never had any problems with him. He is one of the kindest doctors I have met, is not condescending, and will speak with you and explain. He IS in demand and waits can be long, but it's the choice you make when you want quality care for something so important. Thank you Dr. Zaltz!
Dr. Zaltz was very thorough in explaining everything and has great bedside manner. At most doctor visits you’re in and out very quickly. Dr. Zaltz really took his time answering all my questions. Thank you!
