Gas stations go upscale with craft beer, wine, carry-out meals
This is Barrels & Vines, a 7,100-square-foot upscale market at the Shell gas station that opened 15 months ago on Woodward Avenue just south of Normandy in Royal Oak. It has a 500-square-foot beer cave, more than 1,500 bottles of wine and a 50-by-15-foot wall of premier liquors.
