Losing my father was such a tragic shock. David Techner is just so wonderful. He made everything really easy for me during such a difficult time. He really goes out of his way to make this process as smooth as possible for you and your family so you can focus on healing. Could never thank him enough. Highly recommend this business and David Techner!

I cannot say enough about David Techner and his staff. The way they walked us through one of the most difficult moments of me and my family's lives. Exceptional service caring and compassionate. My father's service was beautiful. May God continue to bless them all. Thanks again.

I wanted to take a moment to express my great appreciation to David Techner and the rest of his staff at Ira Kaufman’s Chapel. When my stepfather passed away in Arizona some years ago, we had no idea what to do or where to start the process of getting him back to Detroit. It just took one call to David and everything else fell in to place. David was extremely diplomatic, sensitive and understanding. He helped guide us through the process of writing the obituary, connecting us with hospice and helping us make decisions without offending or leaving anyone out. There’s a certain level of tact that is required when a family has children, stepchildren, children through marriage and so on. David was able to create a positive environment that allowed everyone to grieve without the unfortunate family differences that often come out in these dark times.
    Thank you, Mike Sher
