Wonderful public space

A wonderful, adorable, tiny library! It looks like it doesn't have much material, but WRONG: it's part of a network of 50 libraries in Southeast Michigan, plus the MelCat system with access to material from all the Michigan libraries, which means we can get EVERYTHING we want. And it might look a bit cold to some with its almond green walls, but believe me, it's a very warm library. I wouldn't swap for any other one!

We love the Franklin library, it’s a big part of what gives the area its quaint small town feel. The size is not an issue since you can have books from area libraries delivered or you have reciprocal borrowing privileges at Bloomfield or Birmingham.

I enjoy the children’s programming, knowledgeable staff, and atmosphere in the library.
