My mother was in the hospital dealing with a low blood count problem. We got that taken care of and the night before she was to be discharged she got a blood clot in her leg. Doctor Friedland talked to me and my family at 10 pm and explained everything about doing surgery on my mom. He was extremely thorough in explaining what we could expect. He told us he would do the surgery the next morning. The next morning he went back over everything to make sure we understood it. He did not rush us and answered all our questions. Did an excellent job on the surgery. We are so lucky to have found him and can’t thank him enough. You just don’t find doctors like him any more. THANK YOU DOCTOR FRIEDLAND

Best, most thorough doctor I have ever encountered. He did aneurism surgery on me recently, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. He showed me graphics of precisely how it's done. Only negative thing I could say is that long waits are common. But worth it.

Dr. Friedland might be a little gruff, but he is an excellent surgeon and took meticulous care of my dad. He always treated my dad with kindness and always answered every question that we ( his six adult children) had, in depth, even if it perturbed him. I would rather my dad have the best care and Dr. Gregory House , than Mary Sunshine and poor surgical skills. Thank you, Dr. Friedland, for helping my dad be the best he can be.
