So much potential here. They have a nice arcade, outstanding food, and great features on their bowling computers. Unfortunately they’re going through one of the same issues many places are experiencing, short on staff. The place was packed and the poor bartender was bartending, waitressing, and bussing tables. The VIP area needed so much cleaning, there’s no sanitizer anywhere and all the balls were covered in pizza grease. Hopefully they’re able to hire more staff soon to meet their high demand. It would be a shame for this gem to have a bad reputation over being short handed. Aside from that, some of the cool features on their bowling computers were themes like Fairy Tales, Disco, and several others you’d just have to see for yourself. They have competitions where you can beat your past score and win. They have amazing steak bites, don’t miss out on those, great quality with an outstanding chef, it’s not just “bar food” it looks like they actually have quality food for being a bowling place.
I was just at Escape for my daughter’s school end of season volleyball party. This place was so clean, arcade was so nice and updated and the staff was so good that I would go back there anytime I thought of bowling or having a party. Rebecca made planning this party so easy and she was so kind and accommodating. We need more people like her in the customer service industry. The executive chef was so kind and their food was WOW! The best food I’ve ever had at a bowling alley. Don’t expect your ordinary pizza, fries and burgers. Their food is gourmet food but not gourmet prices. All of us parents were complimenting the food, the service and the nice facility. We drove 30+ minutes to get to this place from Bloomfield Hills but it was so worth it!!!
Overall, not bad. A little pricey for bowling and my one gripe is there’s no grace period on the hour of bowling. Halfway through the 9th frame time was up and off it went. Most alleys I’ve been too gone a few extra minutes to finish a game if you’re close. I wasn’t going to pay for a whole hour just to bowl a frame and a half.
Shoe rentals leave something to be desired. While I don’t expect anything nice, two of the three pairs rented had large holes in them.
Drinks from the bar were reasonably priced, good and fast. Food is reasonably priced. There is no vending machines except for one broken one, so the bar is your only choice for food and drinks.
Cleanliness was good. The place was pretty clean overall, though I did just get there when they opened so there wasn’t really time for it to get messy.
Went for bowling ($50 4 kids/shoes for 1 hour on Sat), lunch (4 kids, 2 adults, 4 drinks), 30 mins of arcade ($15/per kid), Lazer tag ($8/per kid for ~15-20 mins). Great place. Clean, smoke free, not too big, family friendly, clean bathrooms (w/changing table in women's bathroom). Will definitely go again.
