  I have been seeing Dr. Shultz off and on for over five years. My only complaint is that she is so popular and good it's sometimes difficult to get an appointment. She loves animals more than words can say. And she gives me the best hugs ever! If you need empathy and compassion with your pets, don't go elsewhere! I very much appreciate her integrity and thorough examinations. Dr. Shultz is the kind of vet we need to clone! She is in it for the right reasons and not to just have a profitable business. Prices are always more than fair and the office treats me with respect.

  LOVE her! We have 3 big breed dogs and they have always been so anxious with vets. They love her. She is the most compassionate, sweet doctor. You can see her passion for her patients and their parents. Could never go anywhere else again!!

  For the last few years I have been trying to find a vet in the area that I liked but hadn't had any luck, until a friend of mine recommended Great Lakes Vet Clinic. So when my pups yearly physical came up, I gave them a call. I was so pleasantly surprised too. The staff was even amazing! So nice and so friendly. It was like a breath of fresh air to have someone answer the phone and be kind and upbeat. That was my first impression and I was so pleased. When the appointment day finally came, I was even more surprised. My appt was on a Friday and the office was pretty busy but the staff was still very nice and so kind even though they were so busy. Then I met Dr. Melissa and she also was so nice and so kind. I just kept thinking where has this vet office been all these years. My pup is super nervous at vet visits and Dr. Melissa did all she could make her comfortable. My pup like to hide under the chairs and Dr. Melissa got right on the floor with her and did her exam. I thought that was just so cool. She listened to my concerns about my babies arthritis too and even sent her home with an anti inflammatory medication for days that she seems to be hurting. At the end of the visit Dr. Melissa gave me a hug and welcomed me to the office. I am just so overjoyed with my experience here. Everyone was just so nice and I feel that is such a hard thing to find these days. Also the prices are so reasonable and doesn't break the bank. I felt like everyone truly cared for my fur baby and for me as well. I would recommend this office a million times over. Keep up the great work! And thank you so much for such an amazing experience. I will definitely continue to bring my fur babies here.

  We had to recently put our dog of 14 years down. Our Sugar was so loved and it was so difficult to let her go but the staff at this vet was amazing. They were so compassionate and took us in same day and cared for our dog in such a way and made her so comfortable we felt like family. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do but the reassurance and care we received was everything in that moment. Our cats are booked for this weekend to be fixed and I am at ease knowing this place will treat them with as much love and compassion as us. It's hard to choose a vet these days but I am really thankful we found these amazing people to care for our pets. I truly thank them for everything they did to ease such a sad day for my family. My brother's recommended this vet and I see why. They are exceptional and you can really feel comfortable trusting them with your fur family. I look forward to sharing our fur babies with these people and know they will do everything they can to care for your pets as family which is so important and rare these days. Thank you wonderful people for what you do. See you soon.

  I wanted to take a few moments to acknowledge how amazing Dr. Melissa is. We recently found out that my older cat Ikey is diabetic... and over the past few months, Melissa has gone out of her way to be kind, compassionate, empathetic and just out of this world. She is a genuine person... She does what she does because she absolutely loves animals. She actually sits and listens to my concerns and we brainstorm together on how to get him better... I cannot tell you how hard it is to have a diabetic cat and try to figure out the correct amount of insulin to give him to get his glucose levels straightened out.... It's been over 2 months, and we still aren't there yet... But she is determined and she really does go out of her way to continue helping us get this right. Her office is so busy right now, just like all the other vets... but her and her staff always are able to get us in so Ikey can get his blood sugar checked... I cannot tell you how much that means to me. She is only ever a phone call away if anything happens with him, or if he starts acting different and I think there is something off... She goes above and beyond all of the other vets I've ever taken my animals to... and I wanted to write this review to let others know how fantastic she is. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Melissa and your staff for absolutely loving my animals as much as you love your own. I honestly hope Melissa never retires, because I know I'll never be able to find another vet like her. We love you so much!
