“I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a degree in Film Production and Photography, minored in graphic design/ creative marketing and advertising for the new, fast paced, entertainment business. I also went to college for entrepreneurial studies and child psychology. I had a very colorful and tough life to where I now have two daughters of my own and help out with troubled kids and adults. I have my faults but I have learned how to take tht negativity and be able to recognize it and refine all the hate, Misfortune rtine and pain into fuel to help launch me into a positive place. But I can tell you right now that I can help y’all out and turn your school around or at least be part of a team and establish a plan based on my time spent bouncing all over a plethora of areas in the film, radio, podcasting and photography. I have always had a natural talent at making people feel like they are not out of place and they are always included. I connect with kids and adults of all shapes, age and sizes. No matter the color or beliefs that you have. I am on a mission to prove that stigmas and hate only lead to humans continuing to hurt more humans in the end. This repeating history again. We need to break that viscous cycle and ya I’m 32 and I use to hate being the very tail end of the millennial age group but I guess it happened for a reason. “OSTC offers a variety of specialized classes that you wont find in any high school. They help you get a bunch of certifications that can get you hired in a skilled job right out of high school. They also try to make sure you are actually prepared for life, by teaching you how to make your resume and financial literacy skills. The teachers and administrators are also pretty good, they will go out of their way to help you. All of the courses seemed to offer quite a bit to the students. On some days, you could see the mechatronics students carrying robots home, the culinary program made lunch on select days, and the computer classes won multiple tech competitions. Overall, if they teach a class that you are considering as a career, I would greatly suggest taking it.”

“One of the best schools so far. Starting with administration everyone is ready to help. Dr Kennedy, takes the time to reply to parents email and pass it on to the concerned department. Counselors are very understanding and caring. Ms Rutherford makes sure that every child has someone to talk to in school. Being alone is not an option in this school, since she cares for children and wants them to see happy and interacting with others. Absolutely best staff. Teachers are so enthusiastic and dedicated. Kids themselves feel motivated to work. My child who was not into history started loving history due to Ms Meyer. She teaches history in such a interesting way, that it is no more boring subject. Want to thank Ms Tillman, Mr Charnas, Mr Spickard, Mr Snody, Ms Mcdonald, Mr Weddell for being so loving teachers. Keep it up! My kids have their sweet memories created due to you all and lovely friends they made. GMS cares not only for sports but for other activities too. Whether it is Science fair, Sports, Arts or any other activity none gets less recognition in this school. Information is communicated through websites, emails and newsletter. We loved the newsletter coming from Dr. Kennedy every week. Small things like posting the Grades on the walls throughout school, nominating Student of the Month etc.. are added motivation that kids look forward too. Children in this school are very respectful towards the diversified environment. They behave respectfully not only in the school parameters but also in the school transport. How can I forget Band! We miss Ms Helm. She is totally into music. She makes sure that every child gives their best. Overall, best school to go to if children loves over all active school environment. If I get chance, I would move back to that school.”

“I have to laugh reading some of the negative reviews here. Annie’s music is not trying to be all things music to all people and in my opinion it is rather foolish to expect it to be. What they are very good at is stocking virtually all of the required music for local competition, especially for school age piano students. This place is a literally a godsend for piano teachers. They carry a few accessories like guitar strings, clarinet reeds, etc., as a service. Obviously, they are not going to have a comprehensive selection of these things like you would find at Guitar Center or a store specializing in band rentals. To expect that they would carry these things at the same price as a high volume retailer is not very smart. I’m not looking forward to the day with all the brick and mortar music stores are gone and I am grateful along with many other teachers that Annie’s Music is there. I am sure it has been a struggle for many of these retailers to keep going during the pandemic and as things improve, I expect to see these businesses able to carry more stock, more variety and hire more employees. For now, I think we should all support them and treat the employees with the respect and kindness they deserve for being there to serve you.”

“My youngest Son Gabriel has been going to English Oaks Montessori for several months now and we are so pleased! We love the owner Marilyn, the Executive Director Lauren and all the teachers there who are constantly working with Gabriel. A couple months ago we sent our oldest son Jonah there for summer camp. Both boys absolutely love it there! The structure is great and the hours work so well with our family’s schedule! The location is very convenient and the school is extremely organized and so clean! We couldn’t be happier and are excited to have Gabriel begin his last year there before he joins his older brother at a neighboring school!
