Master Lockman and all instructors do a great job keeping younger kids interested and motivated. They keep engagement while being kind and modeling respect. Great class time options, too!

Master Lockman's approach to teaching kids discipline and self-defense techniques was exactly what we were looking for our kids. They have enjoyed learning karate, earning their stripes and are eager to continue earning new belts under his direction. His staff have also been incredibly helpful. We give Black Belt Academy more than 5 stars!

My son is only 5 so I was hesitant to enroll him in an activity that required such a commitment of his time. However, a couple months later and it's clear that he loves it. He goes twice a week and looks forward to it each time. I appreciate the approach this studio has (less pressure and more fun than another we had tried). My main reason for getting my son into karate was to build his confidence and discipline and I absolutely see results there.

Our children love attending karate class at Master Lockman's studio. The staff are all kind and caring to our children, and are able to provide individual attention when needed. Would highly recommend the Black Belt Academy to anyone looking to try a new activity for physical and mental health,that is also alot of fun!
