It's very respectful and honorable to keep a bit of the area's history so well preserved. Great experience for everyone. Bring the entire family, especially the young folks.
Great place for meetings with the Rails On Wheels (Saline model railroad train club) throughout the seasons and year.
I found this place to be wonderful for visitors, families, and friends to visit.
Cute little place to take the family to in Saline. What makes it the best is the AMAZING staff of volunteers that work hard to keep it polished and running beautifully. Gardens are gorgeous and it's fun to see the baby animals here in the spring. Christmas on the Farm is also a good time.
20 years I've lived in Saline and just last week got to the Saline depot.
Full of history I was unaware of. It was great. They've done a great job there
Great for kids and FREE. Open only on Saturdays for limited hours 11am - 3pmish (they don't close until you leave). Climb aboard a train carriage, view he inside of a train station complete with railway signals, windvane and crossing lights with gate, see museum artifacts inside a shed, and last but not least take home mulberries from a tree overhanging the train tracks!
