Zax Auto Wash

Younger kid with long hair did a fantastic job and got a well deserved tip. Much better than zippy.

Zax appears to care about the customer experience enough to change staff in this difficult labor market! If you had bad service here previously, give them another try :-) **

Dear Zax in Saline,

There are 1 of 2 staff working every time I go. I have a subscription pass. The shorter dude with long hair, who wears his cap forward, is *awesome*. He uses the little, soft sprayer first then goes around the car spraying very thoroughly before turning on the wash to pull me through.

The taller, bigger dude who wears his cap backwards is the exact opposite. He doesn’t point when I’m pulling in and allows me to hit the track edge with my tire. He doesn’t touch the soft sprayer at all. He turns on the wash right away before spraying anything. He lazily sprays half my car with no attention, as I’m getting pulled forward into the wash. My car gets much less clean when this dude is working. He is doing the bare minimum at best and clearly doesn’t care about following your proper procedures.

Because of this I’m thinking about just canceling and getting a pass for Zippy’s down the street. You should consider addressing this issue. Thanks. I own a business which is why I’m posting this. I would hope that someone would take the time to tell me, if the situation were reversed.

The only reason this review is 3 stars instead of 1 star is because of the other guy. If not for the big man, it would be 5 stars!
