Hagopian had multiple varieties of what I was searching for and educated me what was best for my use. I was able to take home a custom cut pad the same day. “I had a great experience getting instrument work done here on my french bow and modern Neapolitan violin. The big-box violin store in town wanted two weeks to rehair my bow; I came to the Harris shop and was offered same-day service. The quality of the rehair was very good, and done for a very reasonable price. Duncan also replaced my worn-out grip with a strong but supple piece of buffalo hide. He also noticed a small ivory chip missing on the beak of the bow, and glued an appropriately sized patch in its place. Since I was getting the bow work done I also decided to get an open seam on my violin glued together, which Duncan had no problems doing an excellent job with. Together with the bow rehair, my instrument is sounding great again! It's clear that Duncan loves the craft and the tradition of instrument making. He'll be glad to show you plates in his reference books that highlight the specifications of your antique instrument maker. Overall his shop is a great addition to the downtown Ann Arbor offerings - accessible, reliable, and unpretentious. I highly recommend his work for standard instrument maintenance.”

“I have to be honest I was a little nervous about meeting Ashton based on the negative reviews but I came in there with expectations that I was to be called if anything happened with the vehicles that I wanted to test drive. Unfortunately I test drove the wrong vehicle at first Because the inventory had just been updated and she didn’t realize they were two of the same car (same model different trim) after that I ended up test driving the other vehicle but I will be going in the next day to get a full test drive of the vehicle that I wanted to see. Human error happens but over all I had a positive experience here and some of the prices are fair.”

The experience was great. I didn't tell the company at the time that I spent 40+ years in the radio and TV industry...and I know good gear when I see it. “When I called around town looking for paving supplies everyone recommended visiting Fendt Builders Supply first. After coming here I completely understand why. What a fun place to come to if you are looking for any sort of brick or paver. They have a really nice display area. We came on a drizzling day so we also got to see what the paver colors look like wet which was actually nice. There are so many colors and textures to pick from and the display area shows off a lot of cool layouts and patterns that you can use. Edit: brought my son along with me. Have to t ach em young 😊”

“Had a wonderful day raspberry picking at this farm yesterday. Wow, they had so many deep-red, large, fresh raspberries! We have tried berry picking in Ann Arbor at other farms and we have only ended up with a small (1/2 a pint) container after an hour of picking. This farm weeds and clears were the berry rows are and this makes it much easier for young kids (and quite frankly me) to reach and find the berries, often hiding under the leaves. Prices are comparable to grocery stores at $4/pint but, obviously these berries are at their peak freshness. The place seems well maintained and the people running the farm are very welcoming and friendly. They even let my kids ring their huge bell hanging from the roof of the barn, which of course the kids were delighted to do! Hoping to return in the spring for some springtime u-picking.”
