River Drive Apartments

We have been residents for quite a few years. Great place even though it is not new construction, just keep that in mind. You get a lot of space per dollar. Spacious balcony, walk in closet is a plus. Office staff is always accommodating and willing to help. Great maintenance team, went above and beyond when we had an after hours plumbing issue. We enjoy living here.

You get what you pay for. Pretty good apartments in a great location. My roommate moved out one day and never came back, i was honest with the management and they helped me out so much, from giving me time to move out and issuing a payment plan to pay my back rent instead of putting it on my credit. they also understood when I called about late rent and were very helpful as long as you were honest and upfront with them. I would recommend this complex for first time renters. Only downsides are the A/C, laundry, and parking.

Have lived at River Drive for several years in two different apartments and overall it’s been great! The rent is very reasonable, I don’t have to pay for a bunch of amenities I would never use. The hallways are clean, the grounds are well-kept and our laundry room was recently repainted and looks great. The maintenance and office staff have always been professional and prompt with service. The apartments are not completely updated, but if you’re into vintage cabinets and tile it’s not a bad thing. We did have new carpet in both of our apartments at move-in, and new vinyl in our first apartment. The appliances were not new but they do function. The balconies are huge. Parking can be a little difficult, especially in the evening, but I’ve always been able to find a spot. Other than the occasional poorly-behaved neighbor (which reflects more on them than the management/owners) my only complaints are the water bill and the AC. We bought two portable AC units, that resolved our AC problem. Very convenient location.

I just moved in, and I absolutely love it. It’s so quiet. So spacious, i think the apartment and the common ways are clean for an apartment complex. Everything works. Nothing smells funny. Literally the only thing that threw me off was the air. When I was moving it seemed like 10000 degrees and the air is just being fixed or whatever in these old buildings, but the quickest most simple resolution was to put portable air in the window. Issue resolved. The people in the office are real nice, even when I called mid dying of heat with an attitude (sorry to whoever that was). 10/10 I’m pumped to call this my new home. It’s apartment living, seems like all these other reviews have unrealistic expectations of apartments.

Update: put in my first maintenance request using the online portal at 5pm last night, by 1030 the next morning, they sweetest maintenance guy is here resolving the issue. What’s going on with these reviews 😂
