Detroit / Ann Arbor KOA Holiday

Third time this fall and love it! Staff is amazingly friendly, professional and helpful. Bobbi even offered to come in Friday evening late when I arrived to fill my propane tank if I didn't get it done before arriving. I'll definitely be there next fall for football season again...love the location and everything about the campground!

Check in upon arrival went smooth. We purchased wood and the attendant offered to bring it and show us where our lot was. Much appreciated as we were first timers here. Our lot was clean, on grass and shaded which we were grateful for as our stay was warm the whole time. We stayed Thursday to Sunday and staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and on top of things the whole time we were there. Even for a busy Labor Day weekend, the staff always tried to make sure that the campground was kept clean and orderly and the bathrooms were always clean. It was nice to have hot water available in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are older but we had no issues. The general store was well stocked and we purchased quite a few items during our stay. The Hershey's ice cream was fantastic... We made sure to treat ourselves each day we were there with the different flavors offered. All items were reasonably priced. Sam, the manager, was always on top of things. We were tent camping and quiet time was enforced at 10 p.m. our lot was close to the road but by the end of the night we were so tired the traffic did not wake us even being in the tent. The lake is beautiful and it was nice seeing different forms of wildlife there. We will visit this location again for the above reasons.

We loved our stay here. We had some bad luck with our truck breaking down when we got to the campsite but the staff was awesome. Sam and Mike were so helpful. Sam literally drove me into town to pick up the part I needed to fix my truck. They also offered a ton of help as well as let me use some tools. This is the best campground I have ever been to. Keep up the great work guys.
