El Jalapeño Mexican Restaurant & Taqueria

The birria tacos are a speciality here so I had to get them. And truly wow! These birria tacos blew my mind! I can’t remember the last time I had a meal that stopped me in my tracks! Just incredible. Service was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place! This is a must-go!

It was a place I wanted to try for a while..
Loved the food the server Adamaris was fantastic.. She explained and answered all our questions and we had a lot!
The food was great not overly spicy which we liked..
Chips were not greasy and crunchy..We will be back loved it! Finally we found a great Mexican restaurant that everything isn't so spicy..
No alcohol but that's great for us..We don't care!
It was I nice very clean place to relax and eat!

I don't typically write reviews for restaurants, but this place was excellent. I've been here twice, and the food portions were generous, the sauces were very good and home-made, and the food was so tasty. The service was quick, and our waitress was very attentive and working very hard to get all of the orders out. So far, my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Metro Detroit area with very fair pricing.

We came for lunch on a Saturday. There was no wait. The place was clean and spacious. Our waitress was attentive and engaging. We ordered a few things to try. The fajitas and birria pizza were excellent. The burrito was huge. The service was excellent at the counter too. I grabbed a piece of cheesecake on the way out and that was also very good. We got a taco dinner to go and they were good too. A little on the pricey side, 120.00 including tip for 4 plates, 2 drinks and one dessert. I'd go back again though, it was that good.
