Eastland Street Baptist Church

Located right off the highway was an easy choice for lodging when coming to Detroit for a venue. Breakfast was hot and delicious, Linda kept the area very clean and was helpful in getting us anything we needed. The pool was closed due to film build up on the water, but what do you expect them to do: go through their entire guest list and send everyone a text message? Overall I was happy and would stay here again.

What a pleasure it was to stay here! Very welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. All employees genuinely want to be there and make sure the guests have the best experience. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The mattress was particularly comfortable! We came to celebrate 50th class reunion and husband's birthday. Very good location.

I must admit I was concerned if to cancel my reservation reading the bad reviews some 2 months ago, just before my trip.
However, I found this hotel very good, fulfilling all my expectations of a one night stay.
Free parking, decent and clean property, even cleaner and better than some other HIEs I've been.
Spacious room with good bedding. Average American breakfast.
Pool was fair size, very good for a morning swim. All that for a reasonable price of around 100$ for our family of 3.

Stayed here for mother-in-law funeral.
