Regency At Canton

The entire staff of Regency was professional, helpful, and committed to providing excellent care for my Mom during her recent rehabilitation stay. From nursing to PT & OT staff, our family was consistently impressed with the attention-to-detail and personalized treatment plan and follow-through.

My mother spent two weeks languishing in the hospital prior to going to Regency at Canton. Although her hospital stay resolved her UTI issue, she declined in just about every other area. The hospitals are so short-staffed they can only provide the bare minimum of care. Fortunately, once my mother was discharged, she went straight to Regency at Canton. It was a complete turnaround from day one. The staff at Regency treated my mother as if she were their own mother! My mother's myriad medical issues were addressed in a timely manner. The staff are courteous and professional. She was provided the minor but important services that are so integral to our aging population - fluids provided regularly, socialization encouraged, consults with doctors in a variety of disciplines. When the time came for discharge, my mom didn't want to leave! I visited my mother often at Regency at Canton a not once did I have an issue or complaint. The facility itself is clean and modern. The staff are courteous and function with a sense of urgency, proactive in every way. They embrace the concept that patient safety, privacy and dignity are paramount to their success. I would not hesitate to admit my mother to Regency at Canton in the future.

I am very pleased with the care my 92 year old mother received during her three-week rehab stay at Regency At Canton. Her room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed, with a nice sunny window and comfortable chairs for visitors and family. Her meals were nutritious and flavorful. The common areas and gathering spaces were nicely decorated, exceptionally clean and very relaxing. The daily check-in process for visitors was efficient (sign in, visitor passes, temp check), and made clear that the health and safety of the residents was top priority. Most importantly, every staff member from admissions to social worker to nurses to rehab specialists were professional, knowledgeable, and kind! Our family member received excellent care at Regency.

I Can't believe some of the negative reviews I've read here. We were always treated well. The staff was kind and good and very professional, My wife received excellent and attentive care. Someone always responded quickly whenever she needed something. The room was clean and the food was well prepared. Physical therapy was done every weekday and my wife progressed well under the care she received. She was able to return home in the time her doctors expected. Some of the amenities like group gatherings were not available because of covid-19 concerns, but that is not the fault of the management. All in all we were very pleased with my wife's stay at The Regency.

I recently visited a family member at Regency Canton. I first noticed the gathering area as I walked in. It had a warm, comfortable feeling with a lot of space. I was greeted in a friendly manner at the check-in desk.

After filling out some info and having my temperature checked, I was walked to the room by the admissions director, Michelle. The facility appeared clean and well organized. We passed by a large cafeteria. My relative’s room was well-kept. She was extremely complementary of the way she had been treated. She had just finished her meal which she enjoyed. In the 45 minutes I was there, three different people came in to check on her and get her food tray. They were all very kind to her.

Overall, it was a top-notch experience. My job takes me to many care facilities and I can say with confidence that they rank amount the best I’ve seen.
