Lower River Rouge Recreation Trail

This was a beautiful park. What we saw was wonderful. So much wildlife. Saw three black squirrels, three deer, and a host of birds.
Would recommend. No amenities besides a prota potty that we saw

Been coming to this woods well before it was a park since the 80s . The park definitely didn't ruin the woods it has been well maintained and cleaner since becoming a park . Great trails for riding bikes .

Beautiful, peaceful, and great place to get your steps in. The kids loved all the bridges and the paths leading to Heritage Park. We definitely will be revisiting sometime in the near future.. Make sure to bring some bug spray.

Very nice place to hike and bike. Less crowded, many trails and spacious walking routes. With Willow Run airport close by, kids will be able to see the airplane take off / landing from close proximity

Small 2 hour walk through a new trail for a friend and I. Great time, Spring is in the air. Turtles, frogs, snakes and herons! Clean place, but I sure wish people said hello to one another more. Instead, looking down or disregarding seemed to be how you greated people you walked past. Head phones or not, you'll get a hello or a wave from us! I enjoy friendly. Excited to return and head east down the trail.
