Amazing cook, like he's the best. He's better than the rest. Makes a fantastic ham and cheese sandwich. Just like my grandma used to make.
Cool 40s experience with food from the era. Milkshake was okay. Service was good but the staff didn't really stick to the theme or act like they were from the era. Had a neat dining car to eat in as well. Overall a good experience if you're in the museum and want a bite.
Lamy's diner has a limited menu from the 1940's. Everything on the menu is period. No diet soft drinks, no kids' meals. The food is delicious and hearty. Soda comes in a glass bottle, or you can order a milkshake. We eat there every time we go to the Henry Ford Museum
Ate breakfast there. Handmade cake donuts in plain and cinnamon_sugar that were excellent $1.50 each, the fruit bowls at $1.95 were well worth the money as they large bowls that we shared with the little kids. We were amazed at fresh the fruit was and the size of the white grapes. Was disappointed that a 10 ounce bottle of Pepsi cost $3.50. Not everyone drinks coffee and some people can't drink fruit juices and milk but want something more than water.
