Akler Eye Center

I had my Lasik procedure from Dr. Akler in January of 2018. I went from 20/80 to 20/15. I was 28 at the time. This is one of the most impactful moments from my life, and I did pay for it, but in this case "you get what you pay for" rings very true. I am very thankful to Dr. Akler and her staff for making this procedure so seamless for myself. No more contacts sitting poorly in my eyes causing blurred vision while driving or smashed glasses while laying on the couch trying to watch TV all while falling asleep. No future children ripping glasses off my face No matter how fun that can be. It has been truly amazing to see the world through the lens of my own eyes and not those of glasses and contacts.

This process was made so easy by the team at Akler eye Center. I appreciated them every step of the way. I had my lasik in the morning and was able to see without my glasses by evening time. I strongly recommend Dr. Akler and this procedure.Thank you.

Dr. Akler and her staff are very knowledgeable and kind. The staff is very proficient in their ability to collect data and take measurements. They explained the procedures and why the data was being verified. In all it was an incredible learning experience and confidence builder. The consultation with Dr. Akler was insightful and a glimpse of why she receives such high ratings. I did extensive research in picking my doctor and it was rewarded in my first visit.

Dr. Akler knows her field and displays not only remarkable acumen in her care, but also a warm and genuine character. This is a place where you feel seen and heard and respected as a person while you are being cared for as a patient. Whereas some doctors leave you feeling more like a “procedure” than a person, and barely pause to hear your questions (much less ask you any), at Dr. Akler’s practice you are not only attended to but educated as well. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr Akler and Barbara are the best duo. I recently had lasik at Akler eye center and I couldn’t be happier. Barbara did my consultation and she answered all my questions. She explained step by step what would happen and made me feel at ease. Dr Akler and her team during the procedure were great. They made sure I was comfortable during the procedure.
