I was allowed to attend the service here recently. I was greeted by Jeff and entered the church. One of the parishioners politely informed me that since I was not a member of the parish I could only observe the service from an anteroom. The building looks like it dates from the 40's but is clean and well kept. The Orthodox Icons are in frames and are on the south wall of the sanctuary. Sitting is obviously not permitted during the Divine Liturgy which (a.) is in Slavonic, (b) starts at 8:00 am, and (c) is two hours long. I got there at 9:15 thinking I was at Matins (boy, was I embarrassed at arriving so late). After service I thanked the congregation for allowing me to visit and they wished me well.
