(March 11, 2020, 8:15 pm)The architecture and layout of this church is wonderful. I love the design of this church. Especially all the wood interior. It has very unique structure with the stained glass windows began at the top of the peak. The people seem very friendly and I was invited back again. Attendant a home going service for a very close friend, the church handled everything 1st class with grace humility and humbleness carrot. I really enjoyed myself here.
(February 11, 2020, 6:45 pm)My 2 grandsons, and I was invited to the church's annual Christmas Breakfast. This was the second year we attended. Our family was one of many, that was selected to receive Christmas gifts. The church sent us a form, asking us to give them a list of the items we would like for Christmas. As we all.know, Christmas is all about the children. Well, since my grandsons are only 3 years old, I made a list of the things I thought three year olds would like, and things that would make them happy on Christmas Day. Since they have alreadt mastered riding their tricycles; I asked for Bikes with training wheels. Not only did the church member that selected my family's name buy both of them bikes; they brought them matching coats, hats, gloves, and outfits. They also brought them all kinds of books, and learning games. The church decorated their fellowship hall into a Winter Wonderland. They had different tables set up for the children to go to, to receive different things. One table to pick out hats, abd gloves. Another to make Christmas cards. They even had the children take pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Everything was Beautiful.& Nice! My grandsons were Very Happy!

(August 12, 2019, 8:44 pm)I Love Oak Grove AME Church. It's a hospital for the Spiritually Lost or those who Faith had been shaken. It feels like family. It's a church that really give back to the community. Pastor Dr. Robert Brumfield is an awesome anointed man of God that real & down to earth.
(August 28, 2018, 11:56 am)Definitely NOT the AME church of your grandparents: Vocal, exuberant worship and praise. Music, liturgical dance ministries are top-notch - truly inspirational.
Oak Grove's work in the community is legendary. Dr. Brumfield reminds us that we've been blessed so that we might be a blessing to others. Truth.
