DR. RICE is the goat very informative, caring and knowledgeable. Being going to her for over 10 years and always makes me feel better when i leave.
Today I called to inquire about being a new patient,, at the office address 16226 Grandriver Det. Mi.,, A receptionist by the name Sherry was awfully rude ,,interrupted me rudely,,,,, by "saying before you get started, we're not accepting new patients". She was not professional at all. There was a better way she should have spoken to me. Her phone manners needs desperately correcting.
I am 100% satisfied with the care and compassion of Dr Rice (and Lanzilotti and Egan). I'm also compelled to evaluate the support staff etc to offset the one star evaluation above. In the 15 years I've been seeing these Dr's I have zero complaints about the support staff. They also respond to my needs appropriately and we always laugh and smile with eachother. They are a joy to interact with. I love them all.
I recently moved to Monroe MI after 30 years in Southwest Detroit, and my experience with doctors here (so far) has been quite bad. And I work in health care. I miss Susan's compassionate presence more and more, and wish I still lived in Detroit. Both I and my faith community in Detroit have experienced her go out of her way to help in so many unexpected ways time after time. You're lucky you have her!
Dr. Rice is a phenomenal doctor and a wonderful caring person and practitioner. She’s taken such great care of myself and my family for years. The office staff are also very friendly and remember the little details that make you smile and feel welcomed even when you feel down from being sick.
