Ferry St. in Detroit for disposal of household hazardous waste when I needed a place to take toxic items from a house that my family was cleaning out. The workers at the site on Ferry were very helpful and polite. The team emptied my car which was full of insecticides, paint, paint remover, cleaning solvents and more. I would recommend this as the answer to disposing of harmful products. It is a place where items can be taken so that our environment can be protected. When I mention this service to my friends who are residents of Detroit they are surprised, but delighted to know that this service exists.
