(March 11, 2020, 11:35 am)This place is beautiful! Prices are higher than average, especially for the area. If that doesn't bother you and you like amazing pastries, healthy meal options, beautiful buildings, and great service- this is your place.
(March 8, 2020, 3:53 pm)Five stars for the food and drinks we tasted. The flavors were perfectly married and balanced.
On an other note, some staff were friendly and you can see that they're genuinely nice. A few others either had a bad day or they need to learn how to mask their uneasy feelings towards Muslim/Arab people.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time but not sure I'd go back to give them another chance.

We had the Mediterranean pita, the bacon and cheese danish, croissant, chocolate chip banana bread and a rhubarb spritz. Everything was really good - but the banana bread was next level.
The patio is nice and big - lots of seating - the trees aren't quite large enough to make a ton of shade, yet, but there are a few spots.
Highly recommend!!
(May 6, 2019, 1:34 pm)Great tasting food, freshly baked breads, in house roasted coffee, and clean aesthetics. Ochre has all the qualities I to look for in a great brunch spot. The restaurant also has a great outdoor space in front of the cafe that is very toddler friendly. We had a great time chatting with the owner while we watched our toddlers play. I love that there are places like this in Detroit, and I am sure it will become a mainstay of the city in no time.
