I was in and out in an hour and a half. The doctor was kind, caring knowledgeable, and didn't rush me. She answered all my questions and I felt very confident that I was in good hands! He was seriously mental ill and developmental challenged in need of care and Susie's House gave him a resident-centered approach to caregiving. I was hands on and wanted to take care of my brother, but after trailing their services my brother continued to stay there and the family was very pleased to partake in family night and other recreational activities (his favorite is Belle Isle and river walks). I saw him not only progress, but feel the warmth of Susie's House caregivers and feel they truly cared for him and made him feel at home. You can't go wrong at Susie's House!”

“We have been very fortunate since KNC caregivers started caring for our mom in July 2023. Kim (caregiver/employer), Naya (caregiver), and Erica (caregiver) have been extremely respectful, empathetic caregivers, and trustworthy professionals while making sure Mom is always safe. I have been especially thankful for their loyalty to her whenever she has needed extra help with others by explaining that she just needs more patience due to her needs. Mom is a delightful, loving women who also cherishes these ladies that help her. Kim has taught her caregivers many skills to strengthen their patience, gain a willingness to understand Mom’s words and actions, and respond to her with dignity. She has encouraged them to empathize with Mom, when needed. As a result, they have sometimes identified and shared her special needs before my brothers, and I have. The caregivers offer kind, supportive assistance without patronizing or giving judgmental responses. More importantly, Kim, Naya, and Erica take the time to let Mom make simple choices as she navigates through her day. I hoped that Mom would continue to maintain her loving, friendly spirit when we brought KNC Care into her life, and Mom still has that joyful spark in her disposition! Their attitude has made a big difference. The KNC caregivers are truly a blessing in Mom's life and ours. I think of these three exceptional ladies as part of our family. It is an honor to have them caring for our precious mom. They see the magic in Mom and remind her of it daily which makes this wonderful ninety-three old have self-worth.
