Even though I could not see the flowers, Patty told me which flowers were especially fresh and beautiful, and she helped me choose what I hoped would be a heartfelt expression of love and sympathy. I chose a beautiful Belgian crystal cross to add. The floral arrangement was absolutely lovely and truly exceeded my expectations. I loved my teachers and it made me sad that one was retiring because of the school board's decision to make her a Teacher Aide. She was qualified to teach anything in the Direct Study field, but they chose to put her as a Teacher Aide after years and years of teaching science. Are you kidding me? Overall, my experience with GCHS has been great, though I do hope that for our future generations that this school becomes a better place for the students and teachers alike.”

“As an Asian-American with thick hair, I was so relieved to have found this place on Yelp! Excellent customer service. The space is vibrant and clean. It has a very professional and new feeling to it. Esther was very attentive and meticulous the entire time. At other hair salons, I have sometimes felt like they were trying to rush my haircut to get to the next customer, but Esther took so much care with my hair, I felt as if she was cutting her own. Additionally, there is a rewards program. After 10 haircuts you get a free haircut or deep conditioning! AND after getting a haircut you are automatically entered into a monthly drawing for a chance to win around $25 of free hair supplies. Her young children love picking the winners every month from the raffle box. She also had me fill out a client form to list my birthday, hobbies, occupation and preferred appointment time. It was a small touch, but it made me feel like more than a transaction and that this salon cares about me. Esther is personable and shared that opening up a hair salon of her own in Arizona has always been her dream. Well, Esther, congratulations on your successful business, and I am so happy that there is a stylist in Tucson who can cut my Asian hair!”
