(May 14, 2018, 1:36 pm)The Grosse Ile wildlife sanctuary has walking trails and lots of deer. If you go in the evenings around dusk, you will typically see a few deer or a few families of deer. The walking trails are not clearly marked and can be flooded in the spring time. Also, there can be a lot of mosquitoes if there’s been heavy rainfalls. All that said, the best time to check it out is during warmer, dryer weather.
