La Mexicana Bakery

First time at this business. I was very pleased with the large selection. The employee was friendly and helpful she answered any questions I had. So many choices. Great prices compared to other places I have gone. I chose eight different kinds because they were all so visually appealing. Two of those choices didn't make it 10 minutes down the road before I took a bite. I look forward to returning again.

Hello everyone is your friendly neighborhood chef and I am coming to you from a la Mexicana bakery on fort St in Lincoln park the one staff member that was there was very friendly she told me all the great pastries that they had was all that day they had a variety of pastries and also some grocery goods for cooking so I ordered a few pastries for myself brought them home they were very fresh very delicious it take a lot of pride and bacon they're good and you can taste it in the pastries I will be going back very very soon I hope you get to try it out

The bread here is so soft. I hope you try this bakery. They have a good selection. They make these cheese and jalapeno rolls, they are really good. The prices are very reasonable. Be careful you don't pass it up

Purchased some very tasty pastries products and purchased a cake for a special occasion. Autism Day just like the picture. No other bakery would do it! Go in check the great selection of donuts and other goodies.

The pepperoni and cheddar cheese bollilos were soft and tasty. I felt like the filling in the cream cheese empanadas was not enough but the pastry part was cooked and puffed up just right. The flan was above average but had no caramel sauce of any kind and that may have pushed it to the top
