(May 1, 2021, 5:07 pm)The Church is welcoming and pleasant, and Fr Joseph always takes time to explain the unique aspects of the Byzantine Rite of the Catholic Church. He is passionate and pastoral and very much alive to the modern-day implications of the Catholic faith. The collection of relics here is unique and wonderful, and it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

(March 7, 2021, 10:13 am)Father Joseph takes his pastoral care seriously, well informed about church history, unafraid to discuss current events in relation to our responsibilities as Christians, and welcoming to all who enter.
The church itself is filled with many relics which Father Joseph is happy to give guided tours of and the congregants are very welcoming to those unfamiliar with the Byzantine Rite. -

(September 9, 2020, 10:24 am)My wife and I (Roman Catholic) have an interest in different rites and traditions of the Church and decided to attend a Divine Liturgy here about a week ago. It was amazing! Rev Fr Joseph is a phenomenal priest and took an insane amount of time to talk with us and answer questions. If you are looking for a Byzantine Church or are just a liturgy nerd like myself this place is filled with the Holy Spirit and is amazing.

(July 10, 2019, 3:35 pm)Sacred Heart Byzantine Catholic Church offers the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom in English - a traditional Christian liturgy from the early 5th century AD. Eastern Catholics, Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox are all welcome to receive Holy Communion here. Sacred Heart is home to an impressive collection of saints' relics from the early Church, and is worth a visit from the faithful for devotions. Notable annual events at Sacred Heart are the Ladies' Tea and Fashion Show in November, Breakfast with Santa in December, the St. Nicholas Institute's banquet in October, The Donut Man children's concert in February and the Paschal Liturgy on Easter Sunday morning, which features an outdoor procession and the Gospel chanted in five languages.
