Dr salas is a very competent surgeon. My wife had 2 disks in her neck pressing on her nerve causing numbness in her right arm and causing her to drop things. Dr salas showed us the xrays and explained what was happening in a way that was understandable to both of us. She explained what was involved with the surgery and the risks involved. With much consideration my wife decided to go ahead with the surgery. The procedure corrected the issue and after 3 months in a neck brace 24 7 she now has no more pain or numbness in her arm. Our deepest appreciation to Dr salas for what she did for my wife and I can never thank her enough. My wife also has lower back pain from a disk pressing on the nerve. She is having relief from the pain clinic but if needed she will call on Dr salas once again for that surgery. We highly recommend Dr Salas. Sarah and Ron Sledge

I would highly recommend Dr. Salas!! She is knowledgeable, and able to explain complex medical procedures in easy to understand terms. She helped my mother with major cervical stenosis, unbalance and arm numbness get better with surgery and post operative care. She is wonderful thus highly recommended!!

I'm able to still walk ,thanks to Dr Salas! She made me feel comfortable, safe, having back surgery due, to a car accident in August of this year 2022! I still have a long rode to full recovery, but with the care of Dr Salas,I'm positive I will!

I met Dr Salas probably 5 tears ago when she worked at a hospital closer to my home. She was excellent very kind and thorough in explaining the risks, benefits and reasons for possible surgery. At that time she felt surgery was not necessary for me. She then transferred to a hospital over an hour and a half from my house and yet I felt so confident with her knowledge and opinion I made the drive to see her in 2021 because one of the disc's in my neck that was bulging 5 years ago herniated and caused me severe pain and loss of strength. At that point she recommended a disc replacement. She ran all the proper tests to ensure the surgery went smoothly. I woke up from surgery and thought it hadn't happened yet. Of course there was pain but also immediate relief. She is conservative and wants the best for her patients. I would highly recommend her and her staff is excellent as well. One of the best Dr's I have ever met!

Dr. Salas evaluated me for extreme neck pain, arm numbness and increasing balance issues. She explained my condition in a way I easily understood and I came to the same conclusion, that neurosurgery was my only option. She is competent, conservative, highly intelligent and an extremely great surgeon. Dr. Salas and her staff are friendly, empathetic and always available to me. I am still only 6 weeks post-surgery , and I’ve referred two friends to her! I wouldn’t hesitate to see her again if needed.
