Empower Yoga

A beautiful studio with awesome yoga teachers. All levels of students are welcomed to multiple levels/types of classes. I always find my inner peace when I practice at Empower Yoga.

As a newbie to yoga and someone that never understood yoga, I’m completely sold. Not only are these classes relaxing, and meditative they just make my body feel better. I like to think I stretch a good amount but attending the healthy back and slow burn classes made me realize this is a serious practice that really can help my body improve. Thankful I got the introduction and great instructors to lead me through!

I have been to a number of other yoga classes and studios;however there is something magical about Empower Yoga. The instructors are caring, stimulating, helpful. They change up their classes so it does not become boring. I so enjoy owner's, Julie's classes as she is precise and her gentle physical guidance helps you to get the most out of postures. (That is not to say others do not do this as well...) I know it may initially look expensive; however, you have unlimited access and not tied to a specific day or time. You can explore different classes and different challenges. There are numerous special pricing throught the year. A beginners introduction series helps you understand the movements and philosophy. It is the best!

I’ve been practicing at Empower Yoga since the day they opened, over 8 years ago. The ambiance is relaxing, and Candlelight Yin is my favorite class. Every teacher is talented and compassionate. I always feel safe and welcomed here. So grateful I found this space.

I love Empower Yoga! Best studio in Metro Detroit! Very friendly staff and superb teachers! The infrared heat just takes vinyasa to a whole new place. Julie the owner is my favorite! I highly recommend!
