Fun place to hike, bike, walk, run. It’s so beautiful and scenic.
I did the blue trail with a beginner after doing some other blues with them previously and this was very difficult for both of us considering it’s a blue. Basically if you are at all new to mtb I would do this trail with great caution.
Good trail for all level mountain bikers. Beginners (like me) should take it slow. Advanced riders will enjoy the trail's numerous uphill climbs and technical options.
Excellent for casual or serious recreation!
Maybury has superb biking trails (paved and technical mountain bike trails) and many varied hiking trails. I go here year-round as there is always some thing great to do, and just enjoy being 'outside'.
Kensington is very open, while at Maybury you feel more 'in the woods'. Both are great; it's just a question if what you want that day.
For Scout groups and others, check out the Organizational Campground in the northwest of the park. And great summer fishing-for-fun for younger kids in the pond at the east end of the park.
