CANTORO ITALIAN MARKET

My first time today. We had a customer lunch. Started with cheese and meat tray and calamari. Both excellent. Pasta and salads for lunch. They were fantastic. Amazing wine selection. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Go here if you want anything Italian!!! Do you homemade pasta he’s incredible and so reasonably. Grab some other for shaved Parmesan which is at the same counter as the fresh pasta. Also got frozen, cooked, easy prep mussels for under $5! Some of the prices are expensive but if you buy the sale items, you can find some great deals. I got a big container of super fresh spinach for only two dollars which is half the price of the grocery store and looked way better. We made an appetizer, shrimp and pasta with mussels for under $20. Yummy desserts!

Stopped in to checkout the Grocery section which has a GREAT selection, then food smells from the restaurant hooked us in and an early supper was in the cards. I had the #2 pizza. If you love mushrooms, onion and mild sausage this could be your favorite. They use several different types of mushrooms and the resulting combination of flavors and textures was amazing. My wife had the veal ravioli and said it was delicious. Definitely a repeat experience in our future.

I was blown away by the food here! Prices are more than an entry level pasta place (like Olive Garden), but they have huge portion sizes here and everything is made in house— it is truly delicious!! We tried a few pastas and pizzas in the restaurant and bought some pastries in the grocery store. We devoured the cream puffs and came back the next day to get more! If you’re looking for Italian food/grocery in Michigan, this is a great one stop shop!
