We grew up we called this rocket Park and so with the kids today we still call it rocket Park but it's John Ward Park and it has always been a really fun park in the whole area kids can create quite imagination with that playset you can crawl in the rocket kids just have a lot of fun there I guess maybe I have a lot of fun there too it brings back a lot of good memories I would bring your family there it's a good place there's a church across the street you can have picnics there they have covered shelters they have a skate park right by it and they also have bathrooms there good family environment area

Who doesn’t love rocket park! It’s bigger than I remember. The park progresses from little kiddo sized things to bigger kid size. There’s some swings. It’s pretty easy to get a view of the whole park too.

A nice park to bring the kids to run around...got a small skate park off to the side for the older ones, while the young ones run and play at the ROCKET PARK. Nice pavillion if you wanna have a bite in the shade with a couple built in grills. Much improved from back in the day.

Been coming to this park since 2011 and it is the 1st park both of my kids have ever been too. Many memories and a awesome place in a great location. And we all know everyone calls it rocket park

We had so much fun playing at Rocket Park and will be back! Beautiful surroundings, updated playground, multiple ball fields and a super cool skate/bmx area
