“We would highly recommend Sharon and Empowering Birth. This was our first child, and Sharon was with us every step of the way. She guided us through the creation of a comprehensive birth plan, which helped both me and my husband to be more comfortable as the due date approached. When the big day arrived, Sharon was available for phone calls and texts in the preliminary stages, and then when we needed her at the hospital she was there right away! We found her presence especially helpful as we navigated the various medical decisions that needed to be made throughout the process - she was great at working with the doctors and nurses on site. Even though we had a birth plan, Sharon was an important piece in the real-time decision making process. She did everything she could to keep me (mom) physically comfortable throughout labor, and gave my husband (dad) tons of tips on how to be helpful. It was a long day for everyone, and Sharon was there for as long as we needed her! After the birth, she has also been a great resource and thought partner as we approach breast feeding, baby's health, and any other questions that we have. We would whole-heartedly recommend Sharon and Empowering Birth!”

“I went in to have a biopsy of a lump on my jaw under my ear. Of course I would be nervous. Its my face...and a needle going into my face. When the man called my name he had a big smile on his face and shook my hand. He explained to me step by step what was going to happen. He asked if I was comfortable. He asked if he could do anything to make me more comfortable. There were 4 people in the room with me including the doctor. The doctor told me what he was doing at every step. He spoke to me the whole time as did everyone else. When he started to numb the area he told me it was going to burn. I couldnt see anyone but I could hear them. And as the needle went in I felt one of them take my hand. That person held my hand until the numbing set in and I loosened my grip. They all encouraged me and told me how well I was doing. They joked with me about the ice coffee I was looking forward to. One of them spoke to my sister in the waiting room twice during my half an hour procedure and made her laugh when he told her I would need to hold the side of my face while drinking the iced coffee so it didnt spray out of the holes. (Lol) Which made her less nervous. Keep up the good work Dr Raju, kevin,stacey,and Richard you are AMAZING! and I appreciate you”
