“We have had such a great experience at Huron and Ann Arbor Public Schools as a whole. From staff support to academic goals for our children. Students have more options for getting an academic challenge. An increasing number of American high schools offer the International Baccalaureate program like Huron. It offers a rigorous set of courses, and is internationally recognized. Only 830 schools in the U.S. offer the IB program, and 4,000 in close to 150 countries. Unlike AP courses, IB takes a more holistic approach with critical thinking and out of class requirements. It has students look at an issue over time and see how it has impact over parts of the world and how there is that connectivity to it all. It really gets children ready for the world. Also more college credit can be given for IB courses. I am glad my children are challenged in all subject areas at Huron. Also what’s greater than going to school right next to U of M?!”

“This is hands down the best nursery and Montessori in all of Ann Arbor. I have three kids and I have always been a fan of the Montessori learning daycare system but this place just blew me away. They are incredibly caring extremely communicative and really take care of the children like they are their own kids. I rarely ever write a review but this place really warranted it and they are truly deserving of five stars. I wish I could give them six stars. Amazing Montessori daycare.”

“The Preschool @ SK is hands-down, the best program in Ann Arbor. SK is committed to small class sizes school-wide and builds their curriculum so that it is project and place based and includes thoughtful character development. Our son is an active child and SK is committed to regular movement inside the classroom and there is an emphasis on getting outdoors daily (often multiple times). The teachers in my son's preschool classroom complement each other and provide a diverse environment for learning. I could not have hand-picked three better people for my son to be learning from on a daily basis. We view his teachers as an extension of our family and their exceptional communication helps us to feel connected to our son and his learning while he is at school. His lead teacher, Clara, is truly one of a kind and has built, in my opinion, the best preschool classroom in all of Ann Arbor. We are so incredibly happy with SK and our son will reap the benefits of attending this amazing school his entire life.”

“I used to go to Metro and I can honestly say that it was one of the best experiences, yes some of the kids got out of control but the teachers always tried their best to keep order in the classroom and make sure all of the kids were treated with respect, safety was one of their main concerns and were always on the lookout for their students, most of the issues I had seen came from parents who thought they were above school rules and could do whatever they wanted but when a teacher said anything they acted like the victims and wouldn't take responsibility for their actions which of course led to setting a bad example for their children who in turn would misbehave in class. I would truly recommend this school for anyone.”

“I love Tyler Road. Every individual in that school made my daughter's arrival welcoming and easy. The secretary is a real gem. She answers all my questions and she loves the children. The principal is always visible and ready to speak to parents. The school is diverse and I love that my daughter is going to school with so much diversity. The school feels like a home.
