“While Farrand is unquestionably the worst, Isbister is unquestionably the best school by far in the Plymouth-Canton School District. Principal Lee Harrison does a stand up job and is well loved by the students. This guy cares about your kids as much as you do and it shows. Teachers at Isbister are very dedicated to their jobs and the students. Had a great and very positive experience with Isbister with my special needs child.”

“My daughter went here from Pre1- the time she could start Kindergarten at WBSD. She was well prepared. We treated “daycare” as school and bot child care. She was well rounded and ready for Kindergarten by the time it came. She was socialized and didn't even bat an eye when we dropped her off on that first day of Kindergarten. She is 12 now and I am still in touch with this center. I donate many items to them and have become friends with a handful of staff here. My 3 nephews went here also and all are in grade school now. Never had an issue. A handful of kids that went here with my daughter are now with her as in middle school. We made so many memories here. Highly recommend.”

“We believe that children are not drones and need an opportunity to learn and experience the world with their own hands and not every item needs to be constrained to one form, believe that a child needs to have the freedom to smell the flowers, grow and learn with their friends, live life to the fullest every minute of every day, and most of all be HAPPY! Our son started at NorthStar Montessori when he was 18 months old, and now he will be going into kindergarten. I thought it only fitting to leave an outstanding review as a small THANK YOU to all the wonderful teachers at NorthStar! I whole heartedly recommend this school. FACTS from my viewpoint: -Truly follow the Montessori principles and provide the children with independence, autonomy, and respect. -Children and parents make lasting relationships with families. -Our son learned, grew, and was more successful because of NorthStar. -Teachers are incredible and have a real passion to work with and teach the students. -We are going to miss NorthStar!”

“My son 'graduated' from Somerset quite a few years ago, (he's a senior in high school now). I have always recommended the preschool to friends and acquaintances over those years, and find myself forwarding the website again today, which led me here to comments. My son made such good friends at Somerset, and most of the credit goes to the wonderful faculty (Ms. Nancy, Ms. Sheela, Ms. Anne, etc...). They all provided a healthy, early socialization environment that really helped him start to develop the friendship and problem-solving skills he needed at that early age, something much more difficult to do at home. I was also always very impressed with the fun, educational and creative activities they organized along with their patience and genuine kindness towards the children and families. My son was a student there the morning of the 9-11 attacks and I'll never forget the quiet compassion and care the staff projected to the class while so many of us Moms were running in, feeling so anxious and upset. So our time at Somerset 13-16 years ago have made it a 'must' to continue recommending to others.”

“Hi, I am a student at Ivywood. I love this school and I’ve never liked school until now. My NWEA scores in math have gone from 42nd percentile (in public schools) to 83rd percentile in 2 years at Ivywood. The curriculum is great and I’m very happy with the limited amount of technology. The homework is a little much but I think it gets us ready for the amount of homework we will get in the future. The curriculum is very content rich and kids who go there learn a lot more than what other kids learn in public schools. The Gym is very small, I had to point that out, but the school has an amazing track and XC team. I love this school so much and I would recommend it, especially if you are struggling in math.”
