“We LOVE this school! It was difficult for us to find a school that met our academic standards as well as the convenience of placing both of my kids in 1 spot. I have a 3 and 8 year old. I was a public educator for several years and wanted a school that allowed my daughter an opportunity to thrive at her own pace, while finding an environment that was suitable for my active son. This school not only met our expectations, it exceeded them! Every teacher that my children have interacted with have been OUTSTANDING! the children are allowed the opportunity to learn in a peaceful and stimulating environment designed to foster their curious minds. I love that I have the convenience of 1 drop off and pick up as well as the peace-of-mind to view the classrooms from their web cam. The building is clean, the Director is involved and approachable and it is evident that the staff care. We could not be happier!”

“I believe that overall, Jefferson Middle School is a wonderful place and although I like many others complain on a daily basis complain about the obligatory school things like having to get up at an ungodly hour, that comes with nearly every school and can't be changed. The main problem I feel with this school is the students, there is so much drama that exists for no reason and people get so upset and over react about almost everything. Granted, that may just be because of the harrowing ordeal of emotional brutality that comes with everyone's adolescence and that's just some student's way of expressing their repressed emotions. On the subject of teachers, it all comes down to luck, currently as an 8th grader I have Mrs. Liolli, Mr. Kueppers, Mrs. Gilsenan, Mrs. Beckman, and Mrs. Harris for my core/mandatory elective classes and I believe that although some don't show it (looking at you Kueppers) genuinely and deeply care about their student's success and are incredible educators. Forming good relationships with these people is easy and their dedication to the art of teaching is obvious. My only dislike of the school is the ZAP program because I think it's a waste of time and that students who don't do their work don't deserve a grade on it. I would also like to thank every teacher I've had at Jefferson because even the teachers that I didn't form good relationships with or didn't like still taught me important life lessons I will carry with me throughout my education and professional life.”

“The 110 acres was once (my home, it was farm land, we raise 100+cattle,20+horse's+ ducks, rabbit,chicken. ECT. ECT. It was to much city, so we/my parents\ moved farther into the country and only 40 acres farm. A lot of friends, have said BETTER WHEN IT WAS A FARM. Clarkston High school in 1970 was teaching students for our future and STILL WILL BE for I'll grandchildren. THANK YOU”

“My son was in DK this year and I was worried cause we just moved to Michigan from WV and he was in head start for 3 years. In those 3 years he was not prepared for kindergarten and they let him be in the program. The DK teacher Ms. Schultz was so wonderful and understanding. She cared bout him getting an education and doing better she communicated with us through the year and when we discover he had ADHD she still worked hard to make sure he was learning. He has made so much progress this ONE single year that 3 years in headstart didn't even put a dent in. I am so proud of my son and I am so happy with the Ms. Schultz and the other teachers and staff at this school who helped made his year at this school so amazing. I cannot thank you enough”
