“We have had two children attend Creative Co-Op Preschool and currently have one enrolled this year in the 3's class. As a preschool teacher turned stay at home mom I was so excited when I was first told about the Co-Op. It was exactly what we were looking for to help build an educational foundation, learn daily routines and help introduce friendships and conflict resolution at an age appropriate level. The Co-Op is very unique that they provide an affordable school experience while allowing parents to be a part of their child's educational experience through working in the classroom a few times a month. We quickly fell in love with Ms. Michele and Ms. Jen! Together they have over 30 years of teaching experience and they make each child feel loved, interesting and able! When our children went to their Kindergarten testing we were asked where they went to preschool because even in 10 minutes time the teachers could tell they had an educational background prior to then. I credit that all to Michele and Jen! I believe in this school and their mission. With a play based learning curriculum they can learn many things with their hands, their hearts and their care for others. First and foremost, the instructors are amazing with the children, very knowledgeable, and as a parent I feel 100% confident knowing my children are in their hands. The program itself is extremely well organized, communication is awesome, and my kids leave every class improving on their skills. I’ve been to other swim clubs where instructor to child ratio was not as good nor did each child get enough time actually swimming vs waiting for other kids to swim. With Fraser the children are constantly swimming and doing exercises. You will not be disappointed at all with choosing your lessons with them!”

“The reason that I enjoy teaching at Huron Academy is because of the awesome colleagues and the family feel that always rushes the halls! I feel as if my team always has my back, and any problem I may have, there are always multiple people to discuss solutions with! I love sharing ideas, coming together, sharing jokes, and laughing along the way. I am very fearful of working in an atmosphere that isn’t as friendly as this one! I love it here! The activity most loved that I taught this year was the butterfly life cycle! I loved observing the growth and the changing of the caterpillars into butterflies! When their chrysalis hatched it was awesome to see the butterflies expand their wings and finally fly away. I found an activity that we can look through microscopes at the caterpillars and feel them, then measure them and record. We also compared and contrasted the butterfly with the caterpillar. It was super cool! A special moment that reaffirmed my commitment is when I noticed a young student practicing more than she had to in math to make sure that she did well on the test and to make sure that she learned her facts! She always tries and puts forth best effort makes me feel that she actually wanted to!”
