Great instructor! I studied with Dan in high school, and went on to have an excellent professional career as a French Horn Instrumentalist with the US Marine Corps.

My daughter started lessons about 3 months ago. Since that time, she has made tremendous progress with her skill level on the french horn. She looks forward to her lessons and is challenged by the music selected to work on. Dan's positive attitude and dedication is present throughout the sessions. I would highly recommend him for private lessons.

My 12-year-old daughter has been studying trombone with Dan just short of two years. We wanted to supplement our school band experience as well as get more in-depth help with technique. I knew Dan personally before starting lessons and knew was a precision player and incredible all-around musician he was, as well as an experienced performer and a fine person. I'd hear his fabulous tone and hoped my daughter could learn to do the same! She has been progressing extremely well under his teaching, and he has a passion for children as well as a commitment to high standards. He is patient yet pushes the student to achieve their best. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

Dan is a fantastic teacher with so much knowledge. He taught me on drums for a few years and was very easy to get along with but also very intentional with his method of teaching. He is also a phenomenal instructor in all the brass instruments that he specializes in. If you are considering getting a teacher, you need to meet Dan in person to make the right decision!

My grandson Danny takes one-hour lessons from Dan Noraker weekly, and the progress Danny's made is terrific. When I asked Danny if Dan was "nice," he said, "he's demanding...and nice," which was the perfect answer in my book. I'm very pleased with my investment in percussion lessons for my 14-year-old grandson (I was a drummer, too.). Danny's recent sets on trap for his school's jazz band concert were proof enough for me!
