Come see different nativity representations from all around the world! Is a free event and a great activity for families.
This is an incredibly spiritually moving, sacred and inspirational place. Step into the 1830s walking in the footsteps of Joseph Smith. Be in the same room where the Bishops storehouse began. Relive several key moments in church history. Imagine 500 wagon trains lined up to head out west. Start in the visitor center and have a free guided tour from very knowledgeable missionaries. Plan to have a relaxing picnic here. Don't forget to go up the road to Kirtland Temple OR drive 45mons to Johnson Farm.
Great experience, the missionaries were fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area and events that took place here.
Super inspiring historical sites! A must see if you are visiting Kirtland! Come and get a tour of the building from a friendly tour guide couple! And watch the movie they have in the theatre upstairs! You won't regret it!
I am grateful to live only a few hours away from this sacred and historic site. Each time we visit is a special experience. You can choose to simply walk around if you don’t want a formal tour. Both options yield an uplifting memory. The spirit of this place is pretty special and speaks of great faith and sacrifice.
