Very beautiful wetland sanctuary right in my backyard. The boardwalk makes it a very easy hike.
Great spot for observing wetland. Saw two male Pheasants and ducks.
A nice boardwalk from east to west through the wetland area. With asphalt in the wooded parts make for a nice walk. Where you may see turkey, coyote or deer. With rhe occasional eagle or hawk may fly over. Parking is available on both sides.
Very nice place to walk, it is pretty long (we didn't complete, perhaps it'll take one and a half hour), there are a lot of mosquitos, bring your mosquito repellent.
UPDATE: It is about 1.5 miles one way. One of the best times of the year is October and November (no mosquitos 🦟).
Excellent place for a walk, parking on either end of the walkway. Plenty of spots to rest and sit down on the way. Huge area, very quiet space not too far from town. There is a playground on the Lake's side entrance, and an outhouse at either end. The full walkthrough and back takes less than an hour, The trail will eventually bring you interval lakes and to the beach.
