Cowboy's Saloon

Cowboys has potential. As a casual observer, I can see a lot of room for improvement.
The place has a dated rustic decor and a lazy attitude towards quality is apparent. Still, on a Saturday night, the place was busy. There was a DJ but his sound quality was not very good and his selection of so many hip hop songs seemed inappropriate for the club and the crowd of predominantly middle aged people.
Our waitress was attentive to the needs of our party of ten, and we all had a good time.
The food we ordered was unremarkable and nothing appeared to be freshly prepared, coming mostly from lousy frozen Sysco offerings.
The manager, Corey, is a sharp guy who is trying to improve things but I sense the owners are reluctant to.
Cowboys seems to have embraced the role of a neighborhood dive rather than a first-rate bar & grill, so a lot of the things I mentioned can be accepted, but it has the capability to become a must-experience kind of destination with a better focus on quality.

Fun western-themed dive bar. $5.50 Jack, $2 buds. Staff was attentive and fun. Lots of regulars and easy to see why. Bartender checked with us to make sure our buddy wasn't driving. Good stuff.

Good spot to have a few after work. Service is good, haven't had the food... but if you're looking to put your elbows on the table and chill. You can do that here.
