For the price it's well worth it!! I stayed here for almost a month waiting to get my new home picked out after moving back home from out of town. Woodspring rental is the same or cheaper than the trashy places with high crime BUT this Woodspring is very clean, comfortable, quiet, safe and a decent array of guests. Thomasina is the manager and she runs a tight ship. I was safe and comfortable during my stay. Thank you Tomasina and staff for helping make my move back home less stressful by providing a nice place to temporarily stay without breaking my bank. If I ever move again and have time in-between places I would definitely stay at this location again.
We stayed the night at the motel 1 night. My husband had stayed for work, 2 weeks prior. The hotel is right next to a truck stop, that was a short walk across the parking lot.. The lady that checked us in was super friendly. She talked with our 7 yr old & didn't treat all his questions & curiosly touching things with annoyance. Which we GREATLY appreciate! The room had 2 either Full/Oqeen (leaning towards full ) sized beds. The room also had an electric range top, large kitchen sink, & a full sized fridge! The bathroom had necessary toiletries. Beds were made neatly, there were two laundry baskets, a place to hang clothes, & a dresser. TV worked as well as the basic cable, & phone ( you have to dial 9 to dial out ). I think this room was pretty great for the price. They do offer some pretty decent weekly rates as well & it's within driving distance to lots of places. I would say we would stay again.
A great place to gather and worship, learn more about Jesus, feel welcome, get connected, and work together to serve and show the love of Christ to the Columbia Heights/Fridley community.
