“Decided to pop into Anoka on our way back from up north. J&J's popped up as a highly rated venue and the rest is history. Smoked coffee is unique and flavorful. Cornbread fritters had sweet crunchy outers and warm savory inners. Beans were the right kind, heavy on variety. PB&J brisket was fun and filling. Not pictured, but the wings were my personal favorite. The dry rub was excellent and we will be sure to stop back for $0.99 wings during happy hour!”

“My wife and I just placed my father at Atlas Villas Memory Care. This is a MUST CONSIDER and MUST SEE for anyone looking at a memory care facility for a loved one. Atlas Villas is a brand new "concept" sixteen (16) bed facility that is unlike any other facility we saw and we have seen most of them! It is brand new, the owners are there on a regular basis, and one can see a ton of thought went into the facility from the design, home like feel everywhere, quality of the construction materials and furniture with a clear "pride of ownership" and desire to make everyone who walks in the door feel special. By "pride of ownership" I am referring to the beautiful floors, high quality carpet, tall and thick trim base boards in the rooms, shiplap on the walls in the hallways, beautiful lighting (everywhere), painted ceilings, furniture and furnishings you find in homes and higher end hotels, dimmer switches in rooms, High Quality Ultra HD TV's in public areas, and even the rooms come with pre-mounted high-end TV Mounts where they tilt and rotate for optimal viewing. The facility is physically "smaller" than most in terms of size by design that makes it special. Again, this is a "villa" environment where all of the residents gather for the majority of the day in the center part of the facility. Having all of the residents and staff in a designated and in many ways "cozy" atmosphere creates a bit of a "buzz" with energy that you just don't find in other facilities that are simply too big and don't bring people together like Atlas Villas Memory Care. The residents rooms are a perfect size and not too big / not too small with endless configuration and design options. This is just the start of the experience as the staff is TOP NOTCH and from what we can see so far an unmatched ratio of caregiver to patient. In talking to the owners they are very selective at who they hire and if applications are not going to treat the residents like they are a family member they should not apply. Needless to say we are very pleased with the decision and feel blessed to have our loved-one be part of this wonderful community. He was very knowledgeable and explained the issues with my roof, gave me a few options and was very honest and realistic about the life it has left in it. “VL Builders are awesome! I had a major issue with my patio door. Between water damage and carpenter ants, the entire door frame and interior wall was horribly damaged. Carol and Dennis came by to give me an estimate. They fully explained what work needed to done and gave me a very reasonable price. I am so happy! I had been dreading this project, and they made the whole process easy. I am extremely grateful that they were able to help me on this "small" but extensive project when so many companies just aren't bothering. I fully recommend the lVL builders. They are awesome! My wall looks perfect, the exterior looks great and my door works smoothly. I love it!”

“Jim Myers and his crew have completed a number of projects on my home in Plymouth. The quality of materials have always been excellent. A few years ago they installed new windows. They are the best windows we have ever owned. Pricing was way better the any of the name brands. Last year AASI installed new roofing on our home, barn and shed. A very large job and it was completed in a day and 1/2. The clean up was amazing. Thank you Jim for another job well done. The highest recommendation. “We arrived at 4pm when kitchen opened on Thurs. Had a great waitress who took our drink order. She talked about the menu and we all ordered broasted chicken but I added ribs to mine. Only one bar drink and it was well made. It took a little bit to do chicken, made fresh. It came with cranberry bread wrapped. A side and Cole slaw. We were the only ones in dining room but the bar had many as they had meat raffle that evening. They have an extensive menu. Will try again.”
