The heartbeat of Chaska! For those that should but don't know (and should) Coopers has been feeding this cities children, adults and grandparents back when all this City was known for was bricks. Look around you as you drive to get your food and if the person in the car next to you has any wrinkles they were fed by Cooper's. Sure sometimes they have things that could look better or get close to that mythical "expiration date" but ask grandma for your favorite dish and if she goes to her freezer to thaw something out it's most likely from there. I started working there at 17 years old (43 now) and Coopers was already providing me with everything I needed for the rest of my life. I hope my city (Chaska) doesn't turn into a snobby town like Eden Prarie but all arrows seem to point in that direction with today's instant gratification environment.
Feel free to pick on the status of there food but I shop here for the quality and history of the people he employed and continues to employ!
Chaska is on the edge of becoming just another big city box store where people don't even look at eachother and that scares me, and as soon as we forget that this town started at the bottom of the hill it's over. "#keepChaskaunique" needs to be started but I'm not the person skilled enough to to create it.
Always find high quality meats, fresh hamburger, artisan products made by Cooper's Foods, and produce. Prices maybe a bit high but for the quality of product and the friendly and helpful staff most definitely make it worth it.
