Jamie is very passionate about his work and the level of detail put into hardwood floors. Our home project was complex and he worked closely with us to perfect the final product. Our railing system, staircase, and floors were all completed by Mathews Hardwood Flooring. Jamie took on each challenge and worked closely with us. When guests arrive, they marvel at the work that Jamie and his team performed. While he is a perfectionist, at times, he is more terse in his communication style which we grew used to as the work all came together. Thank you Mathews Hardwood Flooring for a job well-done.

We worked with Jamie Mathews recently on our main level wood floors. He's truly gifted in his craft, his depth of knowledge of wood floors is great, and we truly felt confident in his abilities. I really appreciated how he did a quick intake of our home's decor and helped us choose a complimentary floor stain color. He thoroughly explained the scope of the project and what to expect ahead of time. We were advised to "move out" for a couple of days - which was important because we have three kids, a dog and a cat. It's important to know that you need to just stay out of his way and allow him to work as he's highly meticulous about the finish - and opening doors during the process to peek your head in will allow air to move unexpectedly and perhaps a doggy hair to sneak onto the floor. So, be sure to take that under advisement. The finished product is absolutely stunning, we are so pleased.
