Oh man if you like horses and horse riding try this place. Nicely organized and guided. There is an instructor who leads and another person at the end. Amazing place. Feels like a ruler or a king and horse riding is in the blood.

A day i'll never forget!!!

My fiancé planned an afternoon date for us to go horseback riding because it's been a while and we've been wanting to go for so long. Well, little did I know he had planned something else as well! It was the most perfect fall day to take in nature and the wildlife. The staff was welcoming and friendly and I loved looking at all the horses and they all looked cared for! We loved the horses we got to ride! (Molly and Speckles :) ) Our tour guide Jo was phenomenal! She was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. If it wasn't for her, my boyfriend wouldn't have pulled off this huge surprise! She picked the most perfect spot to take photos (and to get engaged)! She even came in on her day off! She planned this with my fiancé (boyfriend at the time) and I had no clue. I will never forget this day thanks to Jo and the rest of River Valley Ranch. We'll be back (hopefully sooner then later)!!

Arrived early and had a wonderful conversation with Terry the owner and Ruby our trail guide. Learned that it’s 400 acres and they have 49 horses and Terry’s been open since 1962. I loved learning about how it got started. Ruby was fantastic as our guide for our 2 hour ride. Beautiful scenery and the horses were great. My daughter and I had a blast! I will definitely be back with the whole family.

So much fun! Perfect for greenhorns and experienced riders, we were the green horns. It was a hour ride on some beautiful trails, we even got to see several deer. There’s shaded and open areas. Bring bug spray and sunscreen. Our guide was Juan, he even snapped some photos for us😊
